redesigning creepypastas 1: happy appy
this was the first creepypasta I ever read, so it holds a special place in my heart! it's uh... absolute dogshit. it's about a claymation apple named Happy Appy who kills kids and predicted 9.11, he also drives a Ford Windstar? there's also a guy called Forensik who works for Happy Appy?? I'm watching the review videos of it by Davis Morgan (please check him out, he's an amazing and really niche YouTuber), and I have no idea what is going on.

now onto the explanation! in the original, H.A. is a 'human-sized' claymation apple that interacts with liveaction children. in my rewrite/redesign, I made him into both a 2d animated mascot and a simple hand puppet. it would make more sense if he were either superimposed afterwards, and it would be more frightening if he suddenly became realistic or scary. the hand puppet alternative would interact with other puppet children (kinda like the ForesT Friends from White Stag Education).
