Spider In My Bathtub (TW: SENSITIVE TOPICS IN DESC)
Long rant, maybe
This may sound really delusional or crazy, but I genuinely feel a deep connection with some of the thought processes of Nagito, and how he views the world.
Let me start off by saying I can somewhat 'relate' to the tragedies he's experienced in his life.
I might take this down since It's deeply over sharing, but around a little more than 4 years ago I had lost an older sibling of mine due to something tragic that happened to them. I had lived in a place where I had generally felt unsafe before after his death was exposed, and we had to move. Before this, we had lived in an abusive toxic household, my father had aimed a gun at my mother so many times, glass has been on the floor, my baby brother almost died because he fell off of my bed onto a corner of a desk and he had to get stitches in his head, he was literally fainting from blood loss, and it was so toxic there, our parents weren't really there, and my mother mentally was extremely unwell, catatonic at times. I've seen very scary things there. I've experienced losses of many friends including Jocelyn and someone else I can't name. One loss of a friend wanted to make me die, it was horrible because they were so Important to me. my roommate left my life almost two years ago, and it was so tragic too. I've experienced a severe eating disorder almost two years ago now, which impacted me in a really negative light, even leading to me almost attempting; have had brung a knife in my back to wait till after school, run to a park I knew was located somewhere specific, and just..do it under the bridge of that area. I've been mentally drained and my mind was completely fogged and quite literally deteriorating from starvation and insomnia, and other things that I wasn't really taking care of. I've gotten better now, due to enlightenment. I felt that through all of these hardships and more, there's always light brung into it. I now live in a better place with loving people, I am surrounded by nice and generous people, and I am very fortunate; often having good things happen to me or small things to cheer my day. I've gotten in many car crashes with my aunt, one in which we were entering the intersection to get to the freeway below (since we were on a levitated bridge-way area), and a car hit us along the edge of the freeway which would have killed us if it weren't for us not being knocked back too hard, and we could have died a horrible death, a car falling to a freeway after a crash. I've survived many crashes, lethal ones. I've survived many attempts miraculously as well. I feel that in all of the negative tragedy in my life (not really, others have it worse, I'm just whining about a sob story), good things have generally always come from it, benefacting me somehow. It sounds weird, but everything bad has led to the wellness that is currently in my life. I'm extremely fortunate to have been gifted so many things and be able to do so much, but it feels like a loophole; almost.
