Atlas
"The world is against me. It wouldn't be fair otherwise." - Chris Pangan
"If you saw Atlas, the giant who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the last of his strength, and the greater his effort the heavier the world bore down upon his shoulders - What would you tell him?" I…don't know. What…could he do? What would you tell him?" To shrug." ~ Ayn Rand
Seriously though, this is how i've felt lately. Recently it feels like the whole world is stacked up against me, and i've been struggling to keep track of all the problems. But even after the countless struggles I've faced, all it's done is stagger me for a brief moment. So imagine what I could do without all the pain. I just need to catch my breath, pick my head back up, tell myself it will be okay, and get right back to work. And sometimes it doesn't get better. But if I just keep working at it, I know it will eventually. And that's what this post is all about. Even though everything around me seems to be crumbling, (the nation, my friendships, my health, etc.) I'm still the guy holding a crap ton of weight, (and I know some of you feel the exact same way too) so I know I need to get back out there and fight. When life pushes you, push back harder. Be Atlas.
