relationship isn't as happy as you think
Niagara constantly bashed for certain tasks that he isn't capable of, even endures verbal and sometimes physical abuse, ending up creating a lot of psychological trauma and abuse, but stays with Paravati because he's still getting noticed by someone, which is all he wants in life, he hates being forgotten
Paravati makes threats and brutal promises to Niagara to keep him there so that he can keep controlling someone and also because he loves having something done for him instead of doing it himself
Paravati needs something to control, it gives him that sense of power that basically drives him mad
