He has less trauma due to his whole squad being alive and working under eggman. He does fight against aspen aspen never fights back but just teases him. Ash still was groomed by friends and abused by his last boyfriend. His personality is more upbeat and happy though discussing anything about his past trauma just makes him break down crying. When aspen confesses to him mid fight he freaks out not believing he can be loved or cared about and anyone who likes him wants to hurt him so he freaks out and then a building collapse and aspen pulls him out of the way both getting knocked out together. He's more emo and goth not a kandi kid anymore.
