Ginji (pronounced Jinji) was born Jinx, the most mathematically terrifying chemical weapon known to humanity. Jinx, however, enjoyed drawing and reading manga over fighting wars. Jinx gained sentience because of this, turning it into a small, jellylike, yellow creature with two strange lightning bolt shapes poking out its head. Jinx was now useless to and forgotten about by the scientists and engineers who built it, and they’d now moved on to Jinx 2.0, an even more terrifying machine. Jinx smoothed the lightning bolt shapes into long pigtails, and renamed herself Ginji.
It was around this time that Jinx 2.0 had been finalised, and Ginji was its first target. Why? Because even though Jinx was now the harmless Ginji, she was still a chemical weapon at heart.
Jinx 2.0 had started a war looking for Ginji, killing quite a few innocent people. Ginji was in hiding with two failed prototypes of Jinx, who had gone through a similar process to her. However, Gina (Jinx Alpha) was a quiet introvert who spent her time gardening, and Minka (Jinx Beta) was a passionate, fiery and angry thing.
When Jinx 2.0 found them, Ginji looked at the monster. It was a lose-lose situation here, as if they destroyed Jinx 2.0, the team behind the Jinx models would just make a more powerful copy, but if they didn’t, it would kill them all and continue destroying all.
Minka reached out to punch it, a red glow of energy surrounding her. Gina caught her fist, as she strongly believed violence was never the answer. Minka’s energy softened into a pastel pink.
Ginji stepped out from behind Minka. She did something not even she thought she would do.
She threw water on the Jinx 2.0. It began to short circuit. Gina stared at Ginji in horror. However, the short circuit did not permanently kill the Jinx 2.0. Instead, a lil guy not too different from Ginji, Gina and Minka popped out. However, she was purple, unlike the red Minka, blue Gina and yellow Ginji. She disappeared. Ginji is still searching for her. She wants to find answers.
