'leak real trust me bro :D'
"Kept you waiting, huh?"
engaging with the target audience via dialogue masking the author's purpose... hi! i'm back here, and everything's gone. with full sincerity (if anyone cared where i was at), i realized my presence is kinda important and freaked out about the chance that someone may know who i am from other places i'm more active at. not to say art is embarrassing, its awesome! i've always wanted to draw awesome and cool stuff with crazy stories. but it may just not be for me. i'm very critical on myself, which would be good if it meant that it didn't stop me from doing anything i want. i would draw stuff for hours on end and say the same line over and over: "it's just wrong" at a couple minutes in. which is then followed with me setting my eraser size big and wiping the whole canvas clean. WHICH IS SOMETHING YOU SHOULD NEVER DO. E-V-E-R. you can't do a perfect dive in a swimming pool if you constantly decide that the last 10 milliseconds of your pounce off the ground felt "off". you need to do the whole thing: jumping, flipping, landing perfectly. and if it's off? whatever, you jumped 20 or 50 meters down, that's both impressive and scary. as much as i enjoy making stuff, it sucks that this stuff sometimes feels meaningless because of my bad habits. i kinda moved on from making drawings, i was never a visual learner anyways lol
but my sob story shouldn't stop anyone from making stuff (if it even did). keep going at it, hard work pays off. it's not much in this economy, but its honest work that'll last until you make the decision to break the pencil in half. i believe words and actions are enough to break our bounds of reality. and make us think and see things that wouldn't ever cross our minds. whether transparent or opaque, full and small, it's still been given worth. enough worth for all to see. and that, is beautiful to me.
thx for seeing and reading!
see you space cowboy.
