jett's dad was an alcoholic and killed Jett's mom. Jett was 6 then and sent to an orphanage because the court decided that his dad couldn't take care of him and his sister, Eve. They hopped around foster homes but one time Jett's dad found them and threatened to kill Eve. jett tried to fight him off, but the police ended up showing up to take Jett's dad away (yay I know) but anyway, now he has trauma from his dad trying to kill his sister and killing his mother.
