A leak from the heavens won't come to its stop
Droppity droppity over the floor
But drop as you may, still we will stay hot

We've sipped from our happiness leaving us dirty
What use have we mud when we drink up our mercy
What use had we fun when we ran it all dry

It drops 'cause it cares and it wants us to cry
The ground here is wet, it dampens and cries
It cries us a river and so does the sky
There in the garden our home wastes tears too
It spills into mud and it wastes all our blue

Hot here and thirsty, we climb and we climb
The floor tasted dirty, we wasted no time
Now there the floor is, it's washed all away and we climb and we climb so it's safe where we stay

The air here is thinner, no longer so yummy
The thirst here now sickens and strangles our tummy
